Rey would have to explore life without the power of the force, seeing as what made her special for so long had all but vanished. His role would be similar to Anakin's during the Clone Wars when it would come to his men and how he would lead them. Not only would the Resistance have respect for Finn as a leader, but with the power of the force he would essentially be the face of the New Republic. Instead, you see Finn holding Rey's gold saber, leading Resistance forces as a Jedi general. Rey would lead the fighter attack with Poe as her connection was severed, making her unable to lead the ground forces. As such, the battles are going to take place in clone wars territory, with the Resistance liberating Cato Neimoidia. My script for Episode 10 begins with the Resistance pushing into the inner rim, nearing victory against the first order. So far I've hammered out most of the story details and how I want to go about continuing the series in a meaningful way. I'm working on a rough draft for an episode 10.
